Maybe you rushed to that test and locked your keys in your car, or perhaps you thought you had enough gas to make it to class and then to a filling station. Everyone has been there. We know it can be frustrating and upsetting. That's why we developed the Motorist Assistance Program, or MAP. MAP provides free* assistance to anyone on the Texas Tech University campus or Rawls Golf Course who needs the following:
- Air up a flat tire
- One gallon of gas
- Jump start a vehicle
- Unlock a vehicle
MAP is available 24 hours a day except for university holidays by calling (806) 742-MAPP.

* Free service is limited to three instances of assistance per year. After three instances, charges run $25 per boost or unlock and $12.50 for gas or tire service.
